Rating
A Cost 2 (1 upgraded) permanent power that draws a card every time a card is Exuded. It is one of the most important draw engines for Exude decks, converting every Exude action into a draw. Combined with Kindling (Exude entire hand -> draw same count), each Exude triggers extra Dark Embrace draws, effectively doubling the hand churn. Paired with Will-o-Wisp (Exude whole hand for 7-10 damage each), mass Exude generates mass draws simultaneously, creating an Exude -> Draw -> Exude chain. Upgraded to Cost 1 it's easy to include from the early game. In deep Exude decks it effectively acts as an unlimited draw engine — an extremely powerful Power.
How to Use
Deploy it early in decks heavy on Exude cards and convert every Exude action into draws across the fight. With Searing Contract (Exude + draw) into Dark Embrace, each Searing Contract Exude produces an extra draw, massively boosting draw efficiency. Casting Will-o-Wisp (Exude whole hand) with Dark Embrace active Exudes 5-7 cards and pulls 5-7 extra draws, wholesale-refilling your hand after the Exude. Pairing Feel No Pain (Block per Exude) with Dark Embrace creates the ultimate Exude state — Block and draw from every Exude. If Brand (Exude + Strength each turn) is on the field, each turn's Exude nets Strength plus a draw, massively stacking resource efficiency.
Synergies / Deck Types
- Will-o-Wisp: Attack that Exudes the entire hand for damage. With Dark Embrace, mass Exude triggers mass draw so the hand refills after the Exude.
- Feel No Pain: Power granting Block on Exude. Combined with Dark Embrace for the ultimate Exude synergy — Block and draw on every Exude.
- Searing Contract: Skill that Exudes a card to draw. Stacks with Dark Embrace's draw for exploding card turnover.
- Kindling: Skill that Exudes entire hand and draws the same count. With Dark Embrace, also adds draws for the Exuded cards, massively refilling hand.
- Brand: Cost 0 skill that Exudes 1 card per turn for 1-2 Strength. With Dark Embrace, each turn adds a draw on top of the Strength.
Pick Priority
- Early Act 1: Medium. Limited impact with few Exude cards, but secure it early if aiming for an Exude deck.
- Late Act 1: High. Pick immediately once a few Exude cards are online.
- Act 2+: Highest. Once the Exude deck is formed, this single card solves all your draw problems.
- Boss reward: Highest. The foundation of an Exude deck — having this card drastically changes the deck's ceiling.
